I've been trying to have a baby now for almost a year but am not having any success. I already have a two year old but me and my boyfriend want another. We don't use condoms, we have sex almost everyday, and we tried the home ovulation kit. I heard once you have one baby then it's easier to have another.

Everything I've read says that you should go a few days without sex right before you start ovulating so your boyfriend's sperm count is at it's highest. Then have sex a couple of days before ovulation and on your ovulation day. Easier said than done though, I know. My fiance and I have sex EVERY single day and you would think that would increase your chances of getting pregnant because you would always be having sex on the day you ovulate..but apparently it reduces the sperm count. If you still want to have sex everyday then make sure that on the day before ovulation and the day of to have sex more than once as you will be constantly replenishing the sperm he is putting into your body everytime he ejaculates.

Getting married, like the person above mentioned, is not going to help you get pregnant any faster. HOWEVER, I don't know if you've tried this or not, but if you take a month supply of birth control pills and then go off of it after the month, you have a really high chance of getting pregnant. Somehow it tricks your body, don't ask me how, but it's true. Other than that, stressing about it so much can delay your ovulation so you might not actually be ovulating when you think you are. But I guess if you have sex everyday that wouldn't matter. Good luck to you!

Go on www.babyzone.com.. enter how many days are in your cycle and the first day of your last period and it'll tell you which days are best to try to have a baby.. have sex on those days but don't have sex too too much cause then you will lower the sperm count... also.. when he has released inside you... lift your legs up and leave them that way for a minute.. it doesn't hurt to let gravity do it's job.. but i would do this for a month or two and since you've already been trying for a year then go to the doctor.. good luck

For some women yes it is and toehrs it may take years to have another. If after trying for a yr or more with no luck then you are considered secondary infertility and this means you have one child but it is taking you a while to have another. We are trying for child #2 and it has taken us 4 yrs now and still no luck. If you can afford fertility treatment then go for it if not then go to the doctor a nd sak them to help you. There are book to read to help you and a website called fertilitylines.com that might help.

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your boy friend to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Sometimes after you have a baby, if you had a c-section especially you can have scaring in the tubes that prevent the sperm from reaching the egg. Even if you did not have a c-section, you should talk this over with your. Dr. the sooner you get evaluated the sooner you can be pregnant. I wish you the best of luck!

Not always. Secondary infertility is more common than you would think. Seems to me you've tried everything. It's time to see a fertility doc. He can do some tests to see if some thing's wrong and he can give you fertility drugs (incredibly expensive) to help it along.

You can go talk to your doctor, but I know one thing and that is, you are not supposed to have sex everyday because that will just make it even harder.
Best of luck to you.

Try not to think about it and just have fun. Maybe backing off the times per week will help, it will increase his sperm count.

Get married and go to a fertility specialist. If you don't have money to do that then stick with the one you have. Good luck.
