This is easily addressed by someone with even a minimal education in English and science. I will address each point using only reason. 1) Creation of the earth in 6 24-hour days. Answer: the bible does not claim that the earth was created in 6 24 hour days. In fact, the bible states that the earth was created **before** the first day. Second, the creation days in the bible are not claimed to be 24 hour days - that is an unwarranted assumption. Third, it is illogical to conclude that the 6 days of creation *are* 24 hour days when the sun is not created until the fourth creation day. 2) Light before its source Who is so foolish as to presume to know what the source of light was before the formation of the first stars? I would suspect, though, that the "Big Bang" might have produced a little light - wouldn't you think so? 3) Day created before Earth An obviously false claim. The Earth was created in verse 1, and described in some detail in verse 2. Day was not created until verse 4. English is clearly not this individual's strong suit. 4) Earth created before sun Without a doubt a valid hypothesis. Scientists **theorize** that the Earth formed after the sun. There is no reason - none - to believe that the Earth *could not* have formed before the sun. 5) Vegetation created before the sun One well-known scientific theory claims that life has extra-terrestrial origins. Plant life most certainly could have existed before **our** sun formed. Some scientists even believe that it is likely. 6) Light of the moon is its own light. Again, the speaker's unfamiliarity with the English language rears its head. The bible makes no claim - in fact, does not even hint - that the moon generates its own light. 7) Earth will perish or not? Without specific Scripture references, I'm not sure how to answer this. There are several "earth forever or not" interpretations that are logically sound and agree with Scripture. 8) Earth has pillars As anyone who has traveled even a little can attest. 9) Heavens have pillars "Heaven" is used to describe 3 locations in the bible (by our modern thought AND by the thought of the ancient Hebrews) a) atmosphere b) cosmos c) the dwelling place of God The last, in particular, is sometimes called in Hebrew "the heaven of heavens". In any case: unless someone has seen the dwelling place of God (Scripture assures us that few have), who can say that there are NOT pillars in Heaven? I mean - has this guy visited there recently? Maybe it was one of those cheap guided tours that skipped the pillars.... My point: how can someone claim that Heaven has no pillars? What is his evidence? 10) All plants and fruits are edible Never claimed by the bible. What *was* claimed is that God planted a garden, and that the fruit of all of **those** trees were given to Adam and Eve for food. Again, the speaker shows a very obvious lack of understanding of even very plain English. 11) Falsification test for a true Christian believer He does not describe this except to say that it is "scientific" - which, quite obviously, is not rational. You cannot scientifically test for something that is incontrovertibly subjective. 12) Woman unclean for double the period when she gives birth to a daughter Since the Mosaic Law is clearly describing a **ritual uncleanliness** - not a **hygienic uncleanliness** - the point here is moot. What is his basis for claiming that the Law which claims that a woman is ritually unclean for twice the time after a daughter's birth is not valid? Basically, he is claiming that the religious laws of the Jews are not correct - without any reason. He is saying, in other words, that something in which they believe should not be believed because he says that it should not be believed. There *is* no foundation for discrediting a religious regulation. 13) Blood used as Disinfectant There is no mention of this in the bible. Blood was used as a sacrifice for sin - but never as a disinfectant. Again, the speaker demonstrates a basic shortfall in language comprehension. 14) Bitter Water Test for Adultery This test was performed by a priest. In other words, it was a religious rite. Is the speaker claiming that such a thing is beyond the power of God? 15) Eighteen Contradictions But not a single one of them a *logical* contradiction. If a contradiction is not a *rational* contradiction, it is silly to claim that it is a contradiction. 16) Differences in Total An obvious example of something that is NOT a logical contradiction. 17) 200 or 245 Singers Another perfect example. If there are 245 singers, doesn't there *have* to be 200 singers? Can you say, "leave your common sense at the door"? 18) Jehoiachin was 18 years old or 8 years old? He wouldn't be the first king to rule at two separate times in his life. We see that the same is tru
