I find that question offending.....just kidding. I think this type of forum makes it really hard to get to know someone and what they really are all about. And it's hard to tell when someone is just being funny at the moment or if they are making fun of you and your beliefs.

Over time, society has "taught" people to become offended. When I was a kid, I was taught that "sticks and stones can break my bones, but names will never hurt me" And I didn't have to go to therapy if another kid said I had "cootie bugs" and I didn't have to go to therapy because I was not picked first for a team at school. We were not as thin skinned as people are today. Comedians would make fun of different nationalities and not only was it funny, but there was alot of truth in it. Kids cannot wear certain costumes to school because it might "offend" someone. I have read that some teachers will not mark a child's answers wrong in red, because they may feel offended. Some kids games are not allowed to be played because someone may have to be tagged "it"...they are offended.. I am not saying it's ok to be out and out cruel to someone who has a disability or deformed because that is wrong. But, in general, society has taught people to become way too sensitive and that's sad.

funny question especially with a 'name' like yours. I don't know why people get so easily offended. This particular category..society and culture, not always for ones who are truly searching for the meaning of the universe. Should relax a little. you don't even know the person who's insulting you. consider the source, and this case, you don't even know him/her.

Sensitivity is perversity, and lack of character, and **** anyone that's easily offended, they should lock themselves in a closet if they can't take a joke, or some constructive criticism;) LOL

They say that people dont like when the joke is on them, and so they wont find it funny, also it depends on what you are referring to about the person, if it is something they have hang ups about definite no no, so just be extra careful of what you say that might be taken in offence.
