We are holding a Girl Scout camp with a western theme and need them for a craft project. I have called stables and tack stores with no luck. Any ideas?

Here is a list of Horseshoe manufacturers. Try contacting them and ask if they would like to make a donation to your group for the crafts project.

go to the racetracks. way over 100 head of horses there - all get shoes and are done on a regular basis. See if you can get the name and number of the track shoer.
Alternately check the southern CA polo clubs - another place where there's a number of horses that get shoes regularly. Good luck

have you gone to the new "375 Free Or Cheap Used Horse Shoe Outlet Of Southern California"? It's a new franchise business. They already have over a dozen locations! Who would have thought there'd be a market???

try contacting farriers/blacksmiths in that area. They're not likely to have that many on hand but maybe they could save them for you.
