I would like to know how to become a Database Administrator if you know almost nothing about databse? what should you learn? which softwares or language? and how long it will take approximately?

Hi Niks here,
if u want to be a database administrator then oracle is best and u can learn oracle in only 4 months and it have very much market value if u r a oracle database administrator then u have a value of min Rs. 20,000 /m. In oracle all thing is teached by the faculty when u joined the course from A to Z. their is no need to learn some language or softwares to learn oracle and it will take aprox. 4 months to be an expert in oracle.

well u would need to learn all about networks, eg novell, citirx etc
then u would need to learn oracle, SQL, php, ASP, .NET these are the main database codes it just depends on how fast u can learn u r looking about 1-2 years to become really good at it.
