I went to print a picture attatchment off of an email, and the printing wizard popped up. When it came time for me to select the picture, over 500 pictures showed up! How do I delete all of the pictures that are saved that I don't want? They are all pictures from online that I never saved. For example, there's a bunch of avatar's on there. I KNOW I never saved those to my computer. How do I get rid of them?

Internet Explorer 6.0+
Go to Tools on your IE browser on top, Then click on Internet Options.
Delete your cache (temporary files), history, and cookies.
Then go to Content and click on AutoComplete Settings and clear all form.
If you dont want your fields to auto fill the forms, then you need to disable it in settings.

If you get Internet Explorer 7.0, you can just go to Tools, Internet Options and you will have the option to delete everything all at once with just one click.
Under Browse History, click Delete, and then Delete all.
It will clear everything.

For Netscape, Firefox, or Mozilla browsers -
Click on EDIT and then PREFERENCE.
First click on Privacy-Security/Cookies and delete your cookies.
Next click on Navigator->History and delete your history. Then go to Smart Browsing in Firefox/Mozilla and clear forms.
Then click on Advanced, then Cache and delete your temp files.

Try doing everything up above first.

Then do a search for one of the files thats in the list by repeating the print function on your computer and it will take you to the directory it came from....just delete everything in that directory.

to get to the search : Click on Start then Search. Make sure its looking in your C: local drive for ALL FILES AND FOLDER and then search for just one of the pictures by putting in the name of the picture in the top box. A list will come up for that picture. Right click on the picture and select the "Open containing folder" option and the folder will come up. Delete everything in there.

I dont know where those pictures are defaulting to so thats the only way to look for it unless you know where the pictures are.

Also, when its time for you to select the picture when you try to print the attachment again, then you can just press down CTRL and A at the same time and highlight all the pictures in that folder and delete them that way.

Hope this works......Go to the file where the pictures are saved and open it. Once the file is open, single click on one of the unwanted pics. Press and hold shift and mouse click on the others that you want to delete. Once all the pics are highlighted (outlined in blue) release the shift button and press delete. This will remove the unwanted pics. Then just go to your waste basket and empty it.

btw, what software you use for your email (outlook, eudora or from online web based email)?
Actually if you dont need the picture, you can just print selected pages which contain the information that you need in print dialog screen,

to clear cache of your computer, if you are using IE, can go to "options" and clear history, or delete temp files
