do a research on the nursing shortage. How bad is it really? what are the stats? When will it reach epidemic porportions? What are the states and federal govt. doing to try and curb this shortage? Who will affect the most? What kind of solutions do you propose to gain interest in this profession?

You didn't state what the research proposal is for, but here's one suggestion.
How does the nursing industry (ie certified nurses) affect the recovery rate of hospitalized patients? That is, what affect do these nurses have on these patients?

2. organization of a nurse when dealing with several patienits almost at one time
3. discussions with the patient's family
4. how to calm a patient when dealing with a life ending situation such as a heart attack.
