My cousin told me to ask this question. She's 5 months pregnant, only 16 years old. She thinks that her water broke a few nights ago, but didn't go to the emergency room. She is worried that she's had a miscarriage. What is this all about!

Please do not say stuff about, if she would have had sex after marriage than she wouldn't have to worry about this. Please don't!!! My cousin is a very wild person, and she had sex at a young age, I know. But please do not make comments like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If her water broke she would know it. It comes out slowly at first, like she peeing on herself and then a big gush, I mean big and it's non-stop for a couple of minutes. Ask her if the baby is moving, if it's not tell her to drink some orange juice, that usually gets them to move a little, if all else fails, tell her to go to the emergency room, because if something did happen to the baby she needs to have it taken care of because ultimately her health will be affected, she can even die.

You first need to ask her if she can still feel the baby moving, and second of all if she did have a miscarriage especially at 5 months there would have been alot of pain and bleeding. Third of all she can kind of tell if the water broke by the smell, if what she is leaking smells like urine it was not her water she is just leaking urine a little bit which does happen when you are pregnant. If she is still very concerned she needs to go to the doctor.

If she's 5 months pregnant only and the water broke a few night ago she would be in serious trouble. Get her to a doctor immediately. If it's a miscarriage, her life would be in danger(from the possibility of infection, blood loss etc).

Ask her to go to a doctor immediately . I think she has got her amniotic fluid out, which can lead to miscarriage and is very harmful to the baby inside. A girl of 16 yrs is too young to be pregnant. This is a very serious issue to be noticed. She needs a medical help.

I think it's very unusual for her water to break at this stage in her pregnancy. It's good that she's going to the ER now. This will give her peace of mind. Anytime she has questions about things, she should feel free to call her doctor. They are used to all kinds of questions and situations and would definitely make room in their schedule for a quick check if they thought it necessary. I hope all goes well!

Tell her to call her Obstetrician (if she's been getting prenatal care), or to go directly to the Emergency Room. If her water did break, she's already waited so long to seek medical care that the risk of her contracting a life-threatening infection is imminent.

She needs to go to the emergency room!!!! Tell her not to take a risk like that again. If she even thinks something MIGHT be wrong she needs to go to the ER!

Going to the hospital is the best thing for her now. Don't worry about the critics, it's her life she can do as she pleases with it! The critics criticize but hey they are doing what they want with there's. I hope all is ok with your cousin.

I have a 3 year old son. When I was pregnant I sometimes couldnt control my bladder. With the baby pushing on her bladder she probably couldnt tell she wet herself. If she is having any pains at all she will neet to see a doctor.

if she thinks it broke she should go to the emergency room or labor and delivery because it's very dangerous to the baby bacteria can get to it now and if too much has leaked they will have to deliver her NOW
