Not sure what your question is related to. Are you indicating your medical billing company's receipts are down or you concerned that the medical billing industry is down?
My wife and I are in the industry and we are doing better than ever. Of course you get flucations with the weather but for the most part, when billables are low we concentrate on following up on previously denied submitals that can pile up it your not careful.
We also specialize in radiology which makes it easier to avoid miscoding since you are not working on dozens of different codes.
Depending on your area, if your receipts are decreasing it is probably an indication that someone else has entered your market and is taking market share from you. We have not had that effect us since we do specialize and actually handle claims from around the country and not in any one geographical area.
