I know someone who I believe to be stealing Medicare benefits. She gets gas vouchers to drive to her DR. appts. Isn't that crap? They might have a teny weny co-pay but everything else is free. Makes me sick!!

Because the hard working people have to pay for their own healthcare coverage and it's not cheap. The ones on welfare have Medicaid.

I guess that is price we pay for being a hard working person. If you get on welfare you don't even have to work. Just pop out a couple of kids and you are set. I'm glad this question was asked. It is not fair.

the real question is why does our country not have a universal healthcare system like canada or some others that way people like you who whine about poor people on welfare would be covered as well as people on welfare

Great question! It makes me sick working my tail off while some lazy person can squirt out some kids and get all the help she needs, and pay 1.00 per office visit.
Ain't it grand?
At least we have the right to say, out loud, how we feel about our government policies!
