yes nearly all email type viruses do that, thats why it spreads across the internet so fast.
always make sure your anti virus is up to date and allways watch if u get a file from your email make sure u know what it is.

yes, that is the main idea of e-mail trojan horse, it will be e-mailed to you and then it will locate your adress book and e-mail itself to everybody in your adress book, so thereoretically it could e-mail everybody in the entire world, but the likelyness of that is logically impossible.
