Hello. This is a very broad question as this art form has many different needs. Tools, watering, pest control, siting, choosing your tree etc. The best bet would be to pop to one of the many expert sites on the net or to acquire a good book on the care of bonsai....it is a fantastic pastime and will bring you many years of pleasure.

They're a little touchy so I recommend getting a book or checking out the link below. Once you get the hang of it, its not so bad.

Good luck! They are very difficult. My boyfriend had one and he got some little food with his. Also, you have to talk to it. And don't move it much b/c they are really sensitive to everything.
