Howard Dean's "Yeaaagh!"...mosquitoes flying by my ears...a car engine that hasn't been maintained...any government official trying to explain how much good they're doing for us...the sweaty rantings and ravings of Adolf Hitler, Enver Hoxha, Robert Mugabe, or Joseph Stalin...the tinny, sappy musical tones some people's computers make when they start up or shut down...adults speaking "baby talk"...the list goes on and on.

I had a college profeesor who'd clear her throat every 2 or 3 words. That was highly annoying.
Also, our town used to test it's civil defense (tornado) sirens on the first Monday of every month. This was very loud and very annoying. It did make one of my dog's howl though, that was very amusing.

Nails on a chalkboard is a standard response and a darn good one. The noise that really gets me is someone smacking their lips or slurping when they eat. Makes me lose my appetite.

The most annouying noise for me is when a car blows the horn next to me. God I hate that, especially in parking lots.

Definitely animals in the middle of the freaking night (that includes the animals that honk their hooters in your front yard while you are sleeping at 1am!!!) Like dogs yapping at the moon or cats screaming in a cat fight or goat with bells on running in your yard!!! I tell you that beats the kids' screams by far lol.

He screeches continuosly.
It's really loud.

Pots and pans clanging together or a knife scraping on a plate.
Drives me absolutely nuts.
..or someone who scrapes a fork across their teeth when they take a bite. Arrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhh
