Big Papi is the easy answer because he always comes through with such clutch hits... but it'd tough to say a DH is the BEST player on any team if all he does is hit... I think right now it has to go to Shilling because not only is he an amazing pitcher, he's also a real team player. He's ALWAYS in the dugout, even when he's not pitching and he's always trying to improve the whole team by being a mentor...
