Bait to use for fishing in Panama City Beach?

I am going to be fishing from a private dock in Panama City Beach this weekend on Grand Lagoon. What should I use for bait? Will live shrimp work?

Live shrimp are your best bet, try some cut bait in the bottom

I would use squid or minnows as live shrimp are difficult to bait.
