Consumer awareness means that you as a consumer must be aware of the price you pay for a particular product or service. You must be sure that the price you pay for a particular product/service is justified. You must be aware so that you are not fooled. This holds for quality of the product/service also...not just the price.

Well, to me consumer awareness means that information is available to know our choices before choosing a particular product, we know the reputation of the company and the product that we purchase. We know the effects if any of using the product, whether there is anything we should be aware of before using the product.

Consumer awareness means being awared while consuming as a consumer. It means to be careful as a consumer. It is very useful as to survive, we must be awared, so as to not being cheated by anyone.

It's sort of like waving to someone in the dark. You know what you are doing but no one else does.
So if your customers don't know what you are doing, you won't get the results you desire.
