I just started mowing and Im not very good at it. Can any of you give me some tips?

Pretty much all of the info before is good; just make sure your blades are sharpened yearly and never cut off more than 1/3 of the length of the grass at a time.

Are you serious? Are you under 12 years old, or over 90? I don't know anyone, who does not know how to mow a lawn. Start the mower, and start going over your lawn, until all the grass is cut..

Go in straight lines and go in opposite directions every time you mow. also don't lower the blade too much

Cut it every week so you wont so long in cutting it. if you let the grass grow too much the lawnmower has a harder time cutting and so do you because sometimes it may shut off.
