If he loves her, he will stay. If sex is more important to him than she as a person is, he should leave.

I think some counseling is in order. If she blames the guy for a UTI she is in error. Most of the time those are caused by not cleaning up properly or misuse of contraceptives. (There are other things that cause it but those are more rare) First of all if sex is painful to the wife their are other ways both can be pleased. Second, the husband needs to speak up. Sex is an important aspect of marriage (not the most important, but needed all the same) The couple is still in their honeymoon stage really and should be going at it like rabbits (although after three years, it might still be calming down.)
I would suggest marriage counseling or sex counseling (yes it exists and yes it is helpful)

OK first off here is something that could help in here it states that a women carries the infection but by having intercourse the guy will push the infection into her. So it is not the guys fault and you should let her know that. After that then you would need to talk to her. It's not your fault and you should not be treated as if it was. Try working out the problem first before you are quick to jump on a divorce.
Urinary tract infections can be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, or some types of parasites. The most common types of urinary tract infections are bladder infections, called cystitis; kidney infections, called pyelonephritis; and infections of the urethra, called urethritis. They are caused by bacteria that are normally present in your digestive system and on the skin around the rectum and vagina. This bacteria can pass through the urethra and up into the bladder. Urinary tract infections are not contagious. However, bacteria in the area of the vagina can get pushed into the urethra during sexual intercourse. Infections can also be caused by irritation to your genital area, such as using a diaphragm or spermicides as contraception, wearing tight pants, and using perfumed soaps. Children, especially girls, are more likely to get UTIs from bubble baths and other irritants. Men are more likely to get UTIs when an enlarged prostate gland presses on the bladder and prevents it from emptying completely, or because of kidney stones.

Is sex the only thing in the marriage? Are there no other factors worth considering? Seems like the reason for the marriage in the first place was wrong. No mention of love, loyalty or even friendship, let alone compassion between them. That is sad.

Being married is not about sex. Do you really want her to do it if she doesn't want to? Souinds like you guys have more problems that are leading up to this. When women are not happy about things they do not get in the mood to have sex, but men will do it no matter what. You need to talk to her.

Why not try counciling? Sex is a very enjoyable part of life, and also a great tension reliever. If things didn't change after trying to work out a compromise, I'd leave.

If sex and all he crave for from a woman, then he shouldn't gotten married at all.
Marriage isn't free sex, its about communion between two people. If all there is to him is sex, than by all means he's too immature to be marry at all

If he loves the the person, stay. If not, then leave. You have two choices, 1) If you can't suffer for the person, then leave. or 2) if you can't leave the person, then suffer.
