Brazil got to keep the last trophy (Jules Rimet) when they won it for the third time. Can they keep this one if they win this year because I reckon that this will be the third time that they have won it?

If they win they they would have won the new one 3 times (94, 02 + 06) so following the previous FIFA precendent then you would think so.

However, if that is true then Germany can also keep it having won it in 74, 90 (albeit as West Germany), and 06.

I haven't read anything official from FIFA though, so I suspect its just speculation...

no they don't. you only get to keep the trophy if you win the world cup three times in a row. brazil have already accomplished this once. if they win this world cup it will only be the second consecutive as france won it in 98.

no one receives to save the present international Cup, no remember what percentage cases they win it. inspite of the actual undeniable actuality that Brazil did certainly get to save the Jules Rimet Cup, a rustic that wins the tournament in undemanding words get a gold-plated replica of the present international Cup Trophy.

I don't think so. I wouldn't be surprised if Italy of the Czechs knock them out in the 2nd round. It's hard for teams from the Americas to win in Europe.

Yes. If you win you can keep the trophy. Only if you lose do you hand it over to someone else. :)
