I hate it when people start clapping after a movie. I also hate it when women start crying after movies and starting talking loud and going over the movie.

normally i don't...i think i may have at some point in time...i remember that i saw a movie recently where people clapped at the end of it but i didn't join in...i guess people do it to let the rest of the audience and the theater staff know that they thought it was really great...who knows they may think that somehow or another the sound of their clapping reaches the actors, directors, producers, etc. that put the film together...lol

It is possibly one of my worst pet peeves. I legitally get upset when people clap during a movie. I just want to look at them and say "It's Fiction! It's Not Real! It never happened, Why are you clapping?"
So to answer your question, No I don't clap at the beginning, middle or end of movies.

No the only time I have heard people clap is after a documentary where the people involved in making it were there. Or even a not documentary where the people involved in making it were there. Or if it is a movie with an important message.

I've been in a movie theater where people clapped at the end. Usually it happens at the end of a patriotic or sports movie after the hero saves the day. But I haven't seen that happen in quite awhile, and I wouldn't do it myself because applause is for the performers who aren't really there to hear it. You might as well yell "I love you!" at your fav. hearthrob on screen, it's pointless.

no i don't clap after i watch a movie in the theater, and no i do not clap after i watch a movie at home either because it is stupid to do that.

No, I think it's gay to clap after movies. I only clap for plays or musicians.

not unless it's like one of those uber heroic movies where everyone ends up clapping. and i yell at the tv when i'm home. i don't clap because i don't want to look like an ***.
