Is there love at first sight...truly?

I think so. I think when you meet "the one" you just know.

There IS attraction at first sight, for sure!
As of love... well, I think that is formed in time and after getting to know the other person better.
Attraction turns into love if you truly appreciate the other person for whom he or she really is.
Some people call this "love at first sight"... cause it is amazing how fast they get attracted and later on they are amazed by the fact that the first picture of the other person that burnt itself into their minds was not a false one!
I call it only the "lucky situation"... :)
It means the picture projected on your beloved one was not a false one, in the first place... probably you didn't get carried away and had the patience to really get to know them!

Yes. Love is always at the first sight, because if you analyse too much you may fail to love. It is a bit emotional to fall in love at the first sight. It is a different thing as to how long such love may last.

It is advisable to be alert at first sight; as you are seeing can't be believed quickly. Persons who are carried away at the first sight are seen repenting after the passage of the time. I do not say that every thing seen at the first sight is dangerous, I only want to caution you, be carefully. See the person, judges him/her by his/ her deeds. See how is his or hers company. Try to know the character of his or her's friends; as a tree is known from its fruits and so the person is known from his/hers' friends he keep.
Also try to know his habits; and you will not be betrayed. Having a patience bears fruits. So be careful in expressing your thoughts before that person. After knowing the person fully then express your thoughts.

In a way, there is. True is not something that has an ending, and therefore no beginning. You love your true love long before you know them. I believe you can see love at first sight, but you can never know its true until much later

I think it's more like lust at first sight. You might really like how someone looks, and have good chemistry right when you meet them, but I think to truly love someone takes time.

Nope. There is infatuation which eventually can lead to a deep meaningful relationship, but love at first sight generally isn't really love.

Its possible. Dstiny brings us together in the strangest ways. We just gotta hold onto the hope that its true to make it so. Sometimes it can even be love before first sight.
Its rare but stranger things have happened and what is rare is also more special. It would make quite a story!

I do not think so there is too much involved with knowing if you love someone or not. It takes time. I do believe in infatuation at 1st sight.

YES! I met him a week ago. And luckily he feels the same. Everything about us is in sync and it's like we've known each other and been with each other forever. I hope you have a chance to find the same happiness. BTW, I met him through Yahoo Answers...so you never know where you might find "the one". :)
