if it didnt leak then you're most likely fine. condoms are really good birth control. if it didnt break then you will be fine, because even if it was to break, condoms usually have spermacide on them- killing all of that anyway. you're fine, honey

A condom is a good form of disease prevention but it is not the most effective form of birth control, especially if he enters you after he ejaculates without using one (which also ruins the disease control). Plus the condom has to be rolled down all the way so there is no leakage out the opening.

The primary flaw with the water bottle test is that it is post coitus... not the best time to find out your protection was not protecting. If you're sexually active you should be thinking about the pill if you don't want to get pregnant.

My sex ed teacher once said "If you are not ready for the responsability of the after sex consiquences, you're not ready for sex."

Don't worry about the condom though, if you used it correctly it's AS EFFECTIVE as the pill. But to easy your mind next time use Spermicide lube with the condom (put a little in the tip of the condom and then a little inside you.)

No it isnt a sure way to tell you are safe. There is no 100% protection unless it is not having sex. If you used the condom corrected, it stayed on, ect, you should be fine. When my bf, now fiance, used condoms, he pulled out in addition to havin ghte condom on, just to make sure. Plus, I was on birth control.

I would use another form of birth control in addition to a condom, like birth control pills ect.

Ick....why do you want to handle a used condom?! I guess you'd be safe from pregnancy, if you used the condom properly in the first place. The only real way to prevent it is to not have sex...if you really are that concerned, maybe you should reconsider having sex at all.(I'm not trying to be *itchy, but I'm just saying.....)

the water will work to find leaks before, but water is a sticky substance ( that is why water stays on you in the shower). condoms are so thin to begin with that a tug could rip it. that is why you roll it over the penis, because if you put it on like a glove than it will tug and bring a higher probobilty of ripping. so if you take sticky water (which is true) and the glove method you just way uped your chances of rippage. just food for thought
