Try network marketing and leverage on the efforts of others. If you have family and friends, you can start promoting your business to them. I'd suggest furthering your education. Many companies today even offer reimbursement for it. By furthering your education, you increase your value to the company and therefore, you become qualified for promotions and raises. (And even if that company doesn't recognize you, perhaps another one will and give the the proper compensation.)
Also, if you feel you deserve more than you are making in your current position, consider speaking to your boss or supervisor but make sure you approach them with a good case...have all of your reasons/qualifications outlined clearly for them.

Find out what jobs are in demand in your area with monster, then apply for them. If you don't qualify for any of them, then it's time to get some more credentials under your belt. Get more educated, take whatever job you can in the meantime, and be persistant.

massconnections.com they do the stuff in grocery store and walmart kmart, etc., you work 5 hour shifts and usually get $70/per event.......only downfally is it takes like 3 weeks to get a check, but is cool
