Well, I guess I'm the oddball but I like it! It reminds me of "The Tide is High" by blondie a little. I was expecting it to suck but I was pleasantly surprised.

She stole the melody from a UB40 song. I cannot remember the name of their song at the moment, but I was listening to Dwyer and Michaels on Q106.5 in the Quad Cities (IA/IL) and they were playing a comparison of the two. As far as the singing goes, the producers did the same thing with Paris as they did with JLo. Have her do the song over and over and over again and hack it up and select the best parts from each song take and mash it all together into an "acceptable" song. She would never be able to sing live or go on tour. No talent whatsoever. "Stars are Blind", hmmm, is that a testament to her own existence? It will be a top 40 hit purely from the buzz, good or bad. Save your money and buy an album that doesn't insult the reggae genre.

I had no idea that Paris could sing, and I was expecting the video and the song to be crap.... but the song is actually pretty good. It's really catchy and good summer song... it's pretty good.

the song actually sounds good but the video for it is really cheap looking. I think she could have done more special things to the video.

I think she's a pretty cool girl! and I'm happy for her if she wants to sing or whatever...I don't know about reggae though...I think she's done a few of those...but I'm sure it's cool.

it's sounds good. is that really her singing the songs or is it someone else? i have a hard time believing that it's her singing it.
