Do you mean how do they do it or how much does it hurt? I'm fairly certain that they simply stitch up the tear along with a small amount of extra tissue to lessen it's likely hood of tearing again. I'm also certain that the tear hurts significantly more than the repair surgery. I hope I have been of some help. Best wishes
