I am a blanket hog myself and my fiance is a bed hog. I don't know exactly how we did it, but I don't hog the blankets so much anymore. We didn't get an extra blanket for him or anything. We just teased each other about one being a blanket hog and the other being a bed hog. Now either of us does those things, unless we are so exhausted that we don't realize we are doing them.
I would say to talk with her about it a few times. It will eventually get into her subconscious and she probably won't do it anymore.

Get European Style covers!
Assuming you have a king size bed, purchase 2 twin size blankets, or comforters in the same pattern.
Now, the hog has their own blanket, and the bed still looks nicely made!

Get separate covers. This way you both have your own covers and still get to be close in bed. This worked for me. I was the cover hog.

I either grab them back or get a new one lol. But my poor hubby will let me have it when i do this in my sleep and he will sleep without it.... Sometimes i am a blanket hog. Poor guy look what he has to put up with.

well i have this promblem every night, I put on an extra cover before i go to sleep , it works here

snuggle up close! Try putting your frozen feet on his legs and back. That works wonders..
