BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A suicide bomber killed at least 10 people inside a Shi'ite mosque in Baghdad on Friday, police said, a day after the national security adviser said al Qaeda's days are numbered in Iraq.

He blew himself up as worshippers gathered for prayers at the Buratha mosque, an old site which is revered by Shi'ites. Twenty-five people were wounded.

It was the type of violence that the new leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, who succeeded the slain Abu Musab al-Zarqawi last week, had vowed to maintain as part of a war against Iraq's Shi'ites and the U.S.-backed government.

Mosque guard Abdullah Hussein said the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber who had hidden explosives

Our withdrawal would be seen as cowardness, and Iran would lose all respect and increase their nuke program. History has shown that in middle eastern culture "might is right", and they do not respect a coward. This is a concept that liberal americans just cannot seem to grasp. They see others as thinking like them, using liberal morals and values. Iran's leader is just as much of an Islamo Facists as Bin Ladin, but he acts in a different way. He has legitimate power, and that makes him a very dangerous man. He is like Saddam, but smarter. He will not kill his own like Saddam, his focus is on the 5th Iman, and world destruction.

Withdrawal from Iraq before the job is complete is the worst thing the USA could do. It would send a signal to the muslim world that America doesnt have the stomach to fight. A big paper tiger.

It would not affect much. However it would prepared a ground for a dialogue. The purpose of US army was to clear nuclear threat of Iraq and save the world from disaster but in reality no evidence was found and mission appears to be for other reasons best known to US.
