Maybe he feels safe with you nearby...try watching a movie/TV or playing a handheld game or listening to music (all with headphones most likely) on the couch with him asleep near you. It's kind of bonding, and he will get the message that you care about his needs while you get to spend quality time. Maybe you could see him a different time of day if your schedule permits.
Try not to look at it as a problem...it's an opportunity to resolve a conflict together, and good practice for marriage! You can be thankful that your boyfriend is a hard worker - that may be an indication that he will be a good provider. And remember, this time where he is sleepy all of the time won't last forever, schedules change, seasons change, your relationship will grow or change...it's just for now, and just an opportunity.
(why is this in the computers/PDA category??) :)

You must respect the fact that he may actually be tired so you both must meet somewhere in the middle. He must be willing to communicate with you on a time that would be best for the both of you to spend quality time together and stick with the arrangement. If he still doesn't want to give you quality time, you will have to sit down and have a talk with yourself and decide if he really has your best interest at heart. You might have to let go and see if he really wants to be with you.

Set up a more convienient time so that he's not too tired to spend quality time with you. If he can't suggest a time, perhaps he's not that into the realationship anymore and you should try to find somebody new and both go your separate ways. If you are arguing all the time maybe it's for the best.

Maybe he's just REaLLY tired from work..that happens to both me and my boyfriend..we wake each other up by doing random things anything from kissing, to messing up his room. to switching the lights on and off... (anything that we know will make the other wake up and pay attention...)then once we get the other one up...we dont stay in the house...we go out...then the temptation to go to sleep is lessened cuz we're not in a house

I have the answer for you because I use to always be really tired and my girlfriend would get angry at me. Convince him to go out. The biggest cause I realized was that we always hung out at my place which made it so easy to fall asleep while watching TV or a movie. Just by going out to dinner or going for a walk can really change his perspective from "Wow, I'm tired" to "Wow, I have a great girlfriend." Hope this helps.

i know you are upset at the fact that he goes to sleep while you are there but i can honestly say if he were that interested in you he would do what it takes to try to stay up. now if he's trying but he is just dead tired where he will just fall over then give the boy some credit i mean he is working right?

Show up wearing a raincoat and nothing underneath! That should get his attention. Then tell him that if he wants what he sees, he needs to get off the couch and start spending quality time with you or he'll never see or touch it again!

Suggest watching a ball game or suprise him with tickets. You never now how appreciative he will be. Say something like"I know you are tired from work , but I got tickets to a ballgame andI wanted to take you"

I don't want to bring you bad news but you need to look around for someone else. He should be excited to see you.
Make him come to see you and quit going over.
Date other people. He will get jealous or come clean about his apothy.
Good luck. You sound very sweet and us guys can be insensitive.

It's time for a more energetic boyfriend. If he were really interested in you, he'd do whatever it took to be awake in the little bit of time you guys have together.
