What is the question?

Do you want to know how to make a book-shaped object from a manuscript? Do you want to know how publishers make money? How to place your manuscript with a publisher?

But, if you want exposure or profit, I would be exceedingly careful about assessing your choices. Some options will be dead wrong, depending upon whether or not you intend your book to be in bookstores, rather than just "listed," and what your true marketing plans and publishing goals are.

Try www.xlibris.com or lulu.com. Lulu is free but offers less support. I have recently tried xlibris and am very happy.
