My ex buys me valentine, christmas, mother's day, and any other day gifts, he says it's from my girls but, the way the gift looks I know different. It was ok at first but, he would bring them over whenever the girl was at work or the girls were in school. I don't how you feel about it, but, I wasen't ok when i found out he was cheatin on me, so i didn't want to help him cheat on her. I stopped it. He still get the gifts, but,he sends them home with the girls. You have to fell different about the situation.I'm not going to tell you to stop this . Just make sure they are gifts you would except from a friend...NO LONGER YOUR HUSBAND!! UNDERSTAND. Good Luck!

It depends on the reason. My ex- bought me Christmas presents. Until I finally got the courts to enforce his child support order.

Funny, the presents stopped then. I think he was trying to make me feel guilty, like a sweater was going to make up for not being responsible for his kid.

Any girlfriend of his shouldn't worry about the sweater, but worry instead about if he would support any kids she had with him.

to keep in good standards with the ex one small christmas present a year is not bad. after all she is the mother of your children and you can make the gift from you , girlfriend and kids to her.

no, i don't think a man should buy a present for the mother of his kids. i feel he can take the kids shopping to buy the mother a present but i don't think he should buy her anything. i think that would kinda wierd especially for the girl he is dating.

If it is upsetting a significant other of either of you, then I would stop. if you aren't beeing affected by it negatively, then I don't see what's wrong with it. I would probably be upset if my current man was buying his ex-wife gifts. It is a little odd...but to each his own.

I think it is okay for him to buy her presents. He is respecting her as the mother of his children.

He should only buy gifts for his kids, not for his ex wife. He still has feelings for her. Stop dating him.
