Definitions of the point on the Web:
* During the come out roll, a throw of 4, 5, 6, 8,9 or 10 establishes a point. The shooter must throw that number again (“Repeat the Point”) before a 7 is thrown. When that occurs, Pass line bettors win. When the 7 is thrown before the point is repeated they loose and “wrong bettors" or “Don’t Pass” bettors win. After the point is established, only the 7 and the “Point number” are relevant for pass line bettors. Other throws do not affect their wagers.

* The Point! is a fable by American songwriter and musician Harry Nilsson about a boy named Oblio, the only round-headed person in the Land of Point, where by law everyone and everything had to have a point.

* In ice hockey, a player in the opponent's end zone at the junction of the blue line with the boards is said to be at the point. Usually the players at the two points are the defencemen, and the name is taken from the former names of the defence positions, point and cover point. On the power play the players playing at these positions are always known as the points, one of the positions is often played by a forward.

It's that sharp thing on the top that you keep jabbing yourself with. Ouch. It hurts, too, so stop doing that. Okay, okay, I have one for you....what's the end?
