Start up a small business like the old fashioned lemonade stand, or go for something a little more trickier like dog walking, or what I personally have found was being in a candle business. What this business is, the main product is a Gourmet Scented Soy-based Beeswax Non-Paraffin Candle. If you want to be in this candle business, I reccomend 2 things which are listed below:
- go in this business with your parents only to assist you
- for more info to join or to look or to purchase these candles, click the link below
Hope this helps!

Depending on what state you live in and what the legal age is to work you could always try your local grocery store they usually higher 15 and 16 year olds for bagging and cart pushers also you could get a paper route delivering papers I know of alot of young kids who do that. Also ask your school councselor they usually are very willing to help young kids start a carrer path or at least get the feel for a job. Check your libraries they might have a job there or even a positing of all the jobs in the area. You could also call around to the places that you are interested in working and find out how old you have to be to work there. Good Luck !

Even at 15 years old, you have lots of options out there and it can be hard to figure out which way you want to go. You probably have some extra time over Summer break and figured "making good money" is your best use of that time. But, you may want to take a good hard look at what the "Best Use of Your Time" really means to YOU. After you get a few ideas, talk it over with your Mom & Dad and maybe other family and friends.
First, what's more important to you right now?
And what was the first thing you thought about after reading that line? See, money is only one part of a whole picture. You have to imagine what that whole picture for YOU looks like and how you are going to make it happen. The most valuable thing you have right now is TIME. You have probably heard that "time is money" but it is so much more. What you spend your time on not only determines how much you make, it says everything about who you are and who you eventually want to be. If you don't shape how you use your time, it WILL shape YOU!
So, take some of that time and figure some stuff out. If you don't figure it all out right now, that's okay too. The important thing is to START!
Here are some things to think about:
What do I know how to do already? What would I like to learn how to do?
If you know how to skateboard really well, you can give lessons. If you want to know how to play an instrument, think about working for a music store or at a recording studio and trade your time for lessons.
What do I like to do? What am I interested in? How do I make money doing these things? What can I do to help other people?
Spend some time using Yahoo! Do a search on keywords like Music, sports, acting, writing, physical labor, etc. and job employment teenager intern. You can get some great ideas from what other people are looking for and what other people have done already!
Some good books to read to help you figure these things out:
Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey
Radical Careering by Sally Hogshead
Here's a search for you too: Teenage Millionaires. Then go to your library and ask for them or go to Borders and check them out!

# 1. Get a good education! , Than decide what it is you enjoy doing. Are you planning on going to collage? If not than get into an apprentice program and learn a good trade. Union construction is good money. Welder, Carpenter, Iron worker, Plummer, Electrician or even a laborer makes top dollar. But remember that is all physical work. Hard work.
Than again you might enjoy computers. Take some advanced classes your school may have to offer. Or last but not least, join the military. They will provide schooling for just about any trade. Good Luck. But remember. #1. Get a good education, and you can do anything you put your mind to.

If you're desperate for money, and you don't have your license, then you'll have to find something close to home, like mowing lawns, doing yard work, odd jobs - post a message on a community board for local work. Pizza shops or restaurants will usually hire 15 yr olds.
But if you're not desperate...forget the job! Go have fun this summer - volunteer in your community - help around your own home....you have the REST of your life to work a REAL job..and believe me it's no fun!!!!! So enjoy your youth while you can - before you know it you'll be 52 like me!!!

My oldest son got his first job at 15 at a fast food establishment. Anywhere like this should be at least minimum wage. For a first job, minimum wage is great, anything over that is better. You have to start somewhere. You might also cut grass for people as a side job to make even more money. Check your local grocery stores for cashier and stocker positions. Hang in there, and good luck to you!

Theres no problem with wanting to make money at the age of 15, but you should focus on you education, I know it sounds like a cliche but in the long run its that education thats going to bring in the big money, in the meanwhile find a part-time job that allows you income to get those things you'd like (clothes, i-pod etc.) without interfering with your studies.
