The comany freaking stole donated goods. The people who blew the whistle got fired.

And the company got their hands slapped.

Ultimately, the two head honchos wound up in prison, and KEI has gone under.

However, there still should have been more punishment meted out, IMHO.

Power+Greed=Corruption.

Well, at least the guys from KEI are serving jail sentences and they have gone out of business.
It is nasty that the FBI agents looted goods from the attacks with no fear of prosecution , including Rumsfeild. Who do these people think they are? Oh, that's right, the government.
The worst part about this is that people will become cynical about giving to charity when disaster comes and rightly so.

Just another example of a country's government out of control. I would guess though that it is just the tip of the iceburg. If it was properly investigated would blow this administration right out of Washinton taking many congress people with it. Corruption runs rampant in this country and it is a sign of the begining of the fall of the great U.S. empire.

To take advantage of people at a time of despair, is one of the worst things human beings can do to one another. I hope this story causes some backlash on those theifs.

why do we put up with this? last night in cleveland a drunk off duty cop hit a pedestrian and fled. he crashed into a wall about a third of a mile down the road. he got off because they said he didn't get far enough to make it fleeing and no dui. he blew.256, it was his second one.

that's what happens in the world these days.many times people who fight for the right thing are considered wrong and weird. the wierd, stupid people are becoming increasingly normal. it's terrible
