No if u live in the UK. You have to do everything you can to earn money just to buy a loaf of bread, then everywhere u go are signs and posters telling you not to do things or making you beleive that things are wrong and bad to do. In the end you dont do what u want to do, just what you've been made to beleive is a good thing to do. You cant tell half the jokes you heard from your dad or grandad, you have to watch what you say and you feel as if you are part of a minority group compared with all those illegally in the country. You want to get married but it costs a small fortune, you cant afford a house (my mom paid 70k for hers in 94, others in the street are selling for 170k, how can something getting older and more likely to fall down be worth more). But hey, were told we live in a country of choice and freedom for all. So if you beleive that then yes you are free, if you live in the real world, no your not

It is my time, but I chose to give it away for the sake of my profits, health, recreation, community, abiding by the law, family ties, travel ...etc which I cannot be a successful person without.
What do I need the 24 hours for, if not for one, some or all of the above and more?

I don't think my time is really my time in that even if say you are reading a great book in a quite field under a tree, doesn't that time truly belong more to the author of the book, the field and the tree, you are giving them your time.

Of course it is, who else's would it be. Even when you'd rather be doing something else, you are still doing something that you have chosen to do. And nothing you do is without a reason. So, of course your time is your own, and always will be.

No at times I feel as if I do not have time for me. I live with my sister and cousin. My cousin does not drive and she works.. so I sometimes feel like a taxi driver.......then I feel bad for feeling that way .. Its like a catch 22.

Nope...Think about it...8 hours is your bosses time, maybe 7 hours is for sleep which we have to have... 2 hours driving that we have to do to get to point B. And we have to eat so take time for that...showering is a must...Really you dont have much time that is really yours...

even at work my time is my own, i sell my employer the product of my labour in that time, NOT the time itself, the notion of employers owning your time is slavery and was abolished centuries ago.
