Well, it is a custom in Greece to have as middle name the first name of our father! Expressed as:
First Name: (Usually: the first born son is given the first name of his father's father! while the first born daughter gets here mother's mother first name!)
Second Name: Daughter or Son of (mine is Nicholas)
Last Name (usually the last name of our father)

Carolina....it's a family name I guess.. it's my mom's name and her grandmother's name, and my sister gave her daughter the same middle name too.....when will the madness stop! I'm not naming my kids that, it needs to end somewhere.
