I used to collect anything rooster when I lived in NC. I live in Florida now. The rooster decor just didn't work here, so I sold all my rooster stuff at flea markets and on ebay. Now I collect anything palm tree. I really do miss my rooster stuff, though. Do you collect theme items to suit your living location?

When I met my fiance, his ex had his kitchen painted white with mauve sponge painted over it. (Not very manly!) Well, he went hunting for a weekend and I painted his kitchen white on top and red on the bottom with a Tabasco border dividing the 2 colors. I then decorated it with red chili pepper and tabasco items. It looks so cool and he gets tons of compliments on it!
Our bathroom is done in Green Bay Packer colors and items since we are cheeseheads and avid Packer fans.
Our bedroom is done in a wolf theme cause I LOVE wolves.

I work away quite a bit so I collect things from my travels.
At home I like going to charity/thrift shops and Car Boot Sales to buy vintage decor stuff.
The friends I have met from other countries are always sending me bits and pieces from their countries as well.
I also like to make things myself when I find time.
I also collect vintage teenage fashion dolls.
Basically my living space is very mixed and matched but it works well!

I am from Hawaii living in the midwest so naturally, I collect pictures from Hawaii, floral furniture, pottery, and my all time favorite: maps.

I have done: Smurfs,Rubber ducks, Zebra, Palm Trees, Black, White and Red, All neutral monotone color, Metal Lunchboxes, naked paintings

i don't collect to suit my living location, but i do collect to suit my personality, i LOVE anything lepard or tiger printed!
