Do In Re:Gault and the 4th Amendment.

The issue revolves around children's rights.

Gault was a 1967 Supreme Court case which basically gave children protection under the 5th and 6th amendments. But it did not address the 4th.

Since then, children have no protection against unlawful search and seizure. They have a right to counsel, they have a right to protection against self - incrimination, but no right to probable cause or to deny a strip search. So, because of school shootings like at Columbine and Springfield, because of mandatory drug testing in children's sports programs, kids have to "tolerate" strip searches by teachers, police, child protection workers, without adequate legal representation.

Research on the current law on immigration and apply it in the now well publicized case of illegal undocumented immigrants in our country who have the nerve to demand that they be granted U.S. citizenship. Compare them to those who have been patiently waiting for their visas for ten years and more.
