God I hate soccer...

O Sweet Lord I agree 100%. We already had the draft so now is the dead season until training camp starts. Then, on a beautiful Thursday night in early September (Sept 7), there will be a glorious rising of pads pounding together, of the wind whsitling around a tightly spiraled pigskin, of jukes, spin-moves, stiff-arms, and wrapped up runners.
Fantasy football fans checking continuously on their scores. Friends and family hanging out on a pleasent Sunday afternoon watching copius amounts of football (and some beer and brats).
Thanks alot, now all I'm gonna think about is football (REAL FOOTBALL) for the next 83 days, 7 hours, and 49 minutes.
p.s. Paulie, that is an absurd analogy. In the NFL, almost every year, there is a team that is 9-7 or 8-8 that makes the playoffs. A 9-7 team's season translated to baseball would roughly mean they go 91-71 (162 game schedule). Do some research before you speak next time.

ME!!! I hate soccer. There is no point in it. Kick a ball in a net. Football is a sport. Soccer is not. I'm so f*cking sick of the stupid World Cup. The Superbowl is way more exciting. And I would like to clarify, football is not just a guy's sport. As you can see I'm a woman and i watch football AND i play it. That goes to you Earl ^. Who's your NFL team?? GO PATRIOTS! <3

How stupid can you be? If you don't like soccer change the channel. I could say the same thing about Australian Rugby. That is all that is on the Australian Channel, on sunday which I get in Guam, guess what! Watch it a little and it becomes interesting. If not change the channel. You are giving credence to the idea that american footballs players and fans are dummies.
That being said I am a Houston Texans fan.

NFL is a girly girly sport! They've more padding than is used sending crystal through the post!!
Plus, what's the point of NFL? Play Rugby... thats a mans sport.... NFL is soooooooo pointless... meathead sport!
Soccer is really called FOOTBALL so dont nick our sporting names either!!

NFL should be 12 months out of the year...
how about a reality show of football camp...pre season / post season
...then we can put washed out stars in there until they beg to be let out...
...just in time for the regular season...

We live in the USA therefore enjoy the national pastime Baseball... ONLY UNTIL NFL STARTS of course. There are so many things happening this year I am so excited. So many tteams getting major upgrades

thank you, this is probably the best statement ever, i cant wait tell football season and everytime i watch TV they mention football but its freakin soccer not FOOTBALL.Need to relize that football in the US isnt f-ing soccer. plus this year is going tobe the bomb. All new teams and 5 draft picks(Bush,Leinert,White,Young, and Williams) i want to see play.

id watch any football. they need to air high school football or something instead of soccer and baseball. id watch soccer over baseball though, baseball totally blows. its the only sport where you can lose as often as you win and still be a good team, thats just dumb.
