smart people can't be smart all the time

2006-06-16 03:07:05 · answer #1 · answered by Flower 4 · 2 1

You could of course ask why stupid people aren't smart.
The common sense we talk about everyone has otherwise it wouldn't be common would it?
The smart don't bother with common sense but look beyond that.
The stupid things to the common, are things that the common would never try.
The real smart are the ones who dare to create. The stupid ones are those who comment after things have been created and question the smart ones without the intelligence to make a real judgement.
If you consider this to be a stupid reply that's because it was written by a very smart person.
Only the realy smart will understand the reasoning. Only the stupid will say that they dont understand.
Take care.

Smart people do do a lot of stupid things. But if they do too many stupid things, obviously they're not as smart as you originally thought.

Cause it gets boring being smart all of the time! Sometimes I do stupid things just for the sake of it or say stupid things on purpose.....Its no fun being too smart!

I think nece is right. Intelligence has nothing to do with emotional maturity. I think there was a book out a few years ago entitled "Emotional Intelligence" (or somthing like that.) EQ instead of IQ.

Also, People are not perfect. In fact, people are generally 30% perfect and 70% unperfect. (my own figures ..lol)
So, anyone going around expecting people to do the right thing most of the time..is going to live a life of constant disappointment.

So, I raise my glass to the stupid of world and make a toast.
Welcome to the human race!
But, those who do not learn from their mistakes and repeat the same action over and over..well, Welcome to the therapist's couch!
Carpe Diem

It's like why do stupid people do smart things.... it's all about Ballance. Good people do bad things. Tall people have virtigo. short people who can make people feel small. Turning left instead of right.

Maybe they are so incredibally bored thet think, hmmmmmm maybe if I point this rocket at my toaster will it cook my bread faster or, if I invent a weapon so powerfull it'll stop people fighting.

Hell can they invent something to save us not flash-fry us into oblivion. only time will tell..... Time machines...... no it will only end in tears.

Because we can be smart in math,history,science,.......but we are not that smart in our personal life life it is something serious and our decisions are one step ahead or one step back or closer to the edge or out of limits..and it is something that you learn from all of this **** in the world not just in the school where you go to learn how to read and write faster then the rest of classmates.

Just because some people are "smart", it doesn't mean they are not human. Everyone one makes mistakes. Hopefully, the smart ones learn from them.

Because the smarter you are the less common sense you have, I sometimes do a lot of stupid things.

You're not going to get a useful answer on such a vague question. Give an example of who is doing what. Then maybe someone familiar with the subject could explain it.
