First of all Wyclef Jean is not Jamaican, he's Haitian. He was part of one the most amazing groups that pioneered hip-hop, The Fugees. He's refering to the ongoing violence that is occuring in Haiti today, when he says "no fighting". Besides that, the song wouldn't sound as good without him.
