Yes you can, nothing stops a period except pregnancy. Sometimes warm water will slow down the flow, but you will be best to use a tampex when in the water.

usually the water will stop your period... usually. When I get Aunt Flo in the summer, I use a tampon. Before I was comfortable using a tampon, I would sit out and watch all of my friends swin.
I started out using ob cause they are smaller and whne you have it in you can't feel it.

Yes. If you are in a pool, please wear a tampon. It isn't healthy for you or the other people in the water. Water will slow your flow down but it will not stop it. A sneeze can cause an embarrassing leak.

Being in the water does not stop your period flow, nothing does. Use a tampon.

Yes, so if you are thinking of swimming, please use a tampon. If you have never used one, start with the smallest size which is probably 'regular'.
