Islam is the most recent, or newest, version of the Abrahamic religions. These are the three major religions that claim their roots in the Old Testament of the "Bible", to Abraham and his original agreement with God. First was Judaism, then Christianity, and finally Islam. Naturally, each of these religions purports to be an improvement on its predecessor, and to be the "one" true and correct religion. If you really believe this nonsense, you would naturally conclude that if you follow Islam, you, and all your fellow believers, are deserving of Allah's blessings and should be living the best lives. Well, the fact that most powerful and successful groups of people (countries, ethnic groups) are NOT Islamic is a slap in the face to Islamists, and creates in them great feelings of inadequacy, confusion, and finally, hate. That's it!

Hate us? They hate everybody. They hate their fellow Muslims. The Wahabist sect of Shia has, since the 1950's, supported schools all over the world (even in the USA) that teach hatred for "The West". This sect was largely and is largely still funded by Saudi Arabian wealth. Most of the terrorists come from this branch of Islam that preaches a return to 10th century rules an mores. "The West" is the antihesis of this approach to life - it is quite progressive and advancing with technologies and personal freedoms for people of all faiths and races and cultures. About 700 years ago the Ottoman Empire ruled the Arab World and until about 300 years ago managed its client states well and encouraged learning and technology. Then it became weak and corrupt and lost its hold on the Muslim world which fragmented. (Witness one example: With all their billions do you see any Arab country offering to relocate their suffering Palestinian brothers on THEIR soil?) The oil situation is to THEIR advantage as it produces great wealth for their countries... or rather sheikdoms. But, "The West" has tried for the last 75 years to maintain some kind of stability between the various divisions of Islam. Alas the Wahabists view this as unwanted outside influence by the 'infidels', and wish to create instabiltiy in their own quest to return to the 'good old old days of 1100 C.E. (a calendar they don't even use).

Jealousy mixed in with stupidity. Democracy works better than whatever method they're using. THAT's why the terrorists hate the US. Why the rest of the world despises the good ole U.S. of A probably has something to do with her ********* mixed in with her brown nosing into other peoples' business every chance she gets. Nonetheless, America is still the best place in the world to get rich or, like 50 says, die trying.

Cos you're different from them. You're not their race or practice their religion or believe in their cause. Heck, they hate the British, French, Australians, Chinese, Russians too. And a whole lot other folks different from them. See what they did to them as well.
Why did they attack America? Cos you're big and noticeable in the world and it's a hell of a way to make a statement for their cause. It isn't going to make a difference if the president isn't Bush. They're gonna try and do the same too. They hate you as a nation. It's a question of whether the top man takes measures to protect his nation. Same applies to all nations.

dont know, maybe they are all hyrpocites and jealous the way american ways of lifes, because in america they all all kinds of vices drinking whoring while in the middle east they still fu.. the goats, raped asians workers, or non muslims, to get sexual relief and that is against their religion but beware all kinds of pornographics materials are kept hidden in their homes, bur in aremica these are all free it is an amreican life styles

becuase we went into there land and basically demolished everything they had worked for... they might be terrorising us but they probobly had teh best in mind for there own land and the government went in there and jus started running things the way they wanted ... if somebody was messing with my land i wud be pretty upset to
