I don't think that American Idol is going anywhere. It makes too much money. I do think that they should change the judges sometimes, I get so tired of listening to Paula's drunken rants about how great someone looks and how warm their spirit is.

I think it should continue. It's giving otherwise undiscovered talent an opportunity to show their skills and meet already famous singers. If nothing else, it's an exciting and fun experience for people paticipating and watching. Even the audience gets to participate. I enjoy it personally. Although I think they need to screen the contestants somewhat. Based on the name, they should be a presentable and appropriate "American Idol" not a convicted felon with warrants or a beauty pagent contestant who won because of her singing talent.

You coated actual each thing that i became gonna say. i imagine yet an extra reason Kris received is because his making a music variety appeals to bigger human beings then Adam's did. in case you look decrease back in Idol heritage, except for David practice dinner, a rocker has never received the contest; it became continuously a pop or usa singer.

It's so old and tired, look at who won the last idol, a grey haired 30 year old. That tells me who's voting and it's not the younger generation (15-25), who according to billboard spend the largest percentage on CDs. It's tired and old let it go out on top.

you are so right. like someone else said, the only good part is the auditions in the beginning. all the judges are getting to be boring and the most talented people aren't even winning.

I like the show. I especially like watching the try outs at the beginning. I hope it stays around. I'm attached to it.

5 seasons is enough!f People would soon find it boring. They should have done so every other year to build excitement.
