there is absolutely nothing wrong with you having a boyfriend. people can be separated for years and years without ever getting an official "divorce". without knowing how long you have been separated, no one can tell you that it is too soon.
as long as you make sure to protect your children (assuming that you have them and that they are young), and that you are responsible ... have fun, move on and enjoy life.
there is no honour in mourning a dead marriage indefinitely

If I was you I would wait until the final divorce and that way there wouldn't be any kind of repercussions. Catch my drift? Do you understand? This is a sensitive time for you right now. What if, for example, you and hubby decided to get back together? Did you ever think of that?
And here you are with some stud boyfriend. How do think your hubby will react? I say he would have every right to go bananas right? Wait, honey, until it is all over and then go get that STUD. OK? I hope I have answered you sincerely. Good Luck with hubby or stud

No and I say this because being separated there's still a chance that you could get back together and what if your boyfriend falls for you, he's then left out in the cold. I think you and your hubby should talk and make a decision what to do about your marriage first before you get into a relationship with someone else.

before you can even think about having a boyfriend, you need to have your paperwork straight. It's either you are with your husband or you are not. Before you start thinking about a boyfriend, why don't you give yourself a little break. See what you like to do, what you like to enjoy. Spend time with your son and try to tell him that things will be okay because you love him. Get to know yourself again, do somethings for yourself, once you have had that time then you can start thinking about a boyfriend. And please be careful. If you cannot talk to your boyfriend about your son, then he's not the one for you. Remember, when you have a child and you are in the process of choosing someone to spend the rest of your life with, you must choose that person because you see he will be good to your child first, then good to you. the children always come first in a relationship. God bless you.

In the big scheme of things, DON't have a boyfriend, yet. A little patience goes a long way in showing your acceptance, and maturity. Heal from this relationship first....what caused it to go sour? What were the personality conflicts? The more you know, the better your future relationships will be, even if it is back with your husband. Best of luck to you!

If there is any chance that you might get back together, then don't have a bf. If you are totally sure this will end in divorce then sure have a new man in your life. If you think it would be hard on the kids, then wait. Each situation is different.

Why does it have to labeled boyfriend? I wouldn't label it. There is nothing wrong with having a male friend. No one has to know your business. He's a friend. You cant put you life on hold. As for custody issues keep the male labeled friend. When I met my now husband he was going through a divorce and we were friends with benefits until the paper were signed.

wait for the divorce to be final which will give you some time to spend with yourself. Women so often feel a need to have a man in their lives all the time. Take your time and enjoy being single!

Yes. If you are getting a divorce and have found someone new it is fine as long as the marriage is over and there is no chance of going back to him.
