People lie on their dating profiles, there are some who are married or already in relationships. There are those who are trying to scam for money and I had one who actually hacked into an account and tried to purchase using my ID luckily they were caught. I believe in trust but sometimes I dont know if I should be so trusting anymore.

The answer is not simple. Sometimes, it's we live what we learn, and we learn that cheaters often get ahead. Sometimes, it's the fact that we are born with both the will to do good and the will to do evil in us. It's easier to do evil (and sometimes more fun) because there is nothing to overcome. To do good takes work because one has to overcome the will to do evil. Human nature is more complex than your question implies.

Honesty and integrity are out there...they are just a bit hard to find these days. I know what you mean.
That's why you need to be careful, go through life with your eyes open.
Best to model a good character and hope these folks catch on. Usually they don't get the message until they have hit bottom in some way...by then it's too late.

There is no harm in being trusting but also watchful. You need to hone your intuitive skills. Read your Bible and let the LORD lead you and let HIM help you discern spirits. You can have that still small voice inside tell you when something doesn't feel just exactly right. Listen to it more. It will help you. Trust it. If you read your Bible and let the LORD have HIS way in your life he will help you find honesty and integrity. It's not lost. It's just not where you are looking.

People think they are anonymous and can get away with anything including lying, cheating, stealing, scamming, identity theft, and fraudulent activities of every kind.
Surprise! You CAN be traced and caught.
Honesty and integrity does exist in this world.
In the modern world, people that live with integrity most likely maintain that integrity in their internet activities.
The OTHERS, the criminal types, the dishonest, the fraudulent, and the scammers --will ALSO do as they do in real life----and think they 'get away with it."

I'm sorry about your bad experiences, and really respect your desire to be a trusting soul. However, being deceived once in a while is a sad side effect of that approach. Try to balance your trusting nature with a little "street smarts," and don't give up!

Unfortunately, so many people in the world have no respect or compassion for other people. I believe that the people who dont respect themselves and have no dignity can do and will do anything to others without regard for the consequences of their actions. And of course, the poor me, entitlement attitude that many americans have doesnt help either.
