Psoriasis is a disease that takes place when the body’s immune system mistakenly believes healthy skin cells to be enemy cells and starts to produce many more new cells to replace these cells. This is the reason why there is no cure for psoriasis and medications applied to treat psoriasis are only able to remove the symptoms temporarily. Don't go the "cream route", it's only just a waste of time and money. Been there Done that!
You need to read "Psoriasis Free For Life" by Katy Wilson if you want to cure your psoriasis for good. Available online also @ http://www.psoriasisforeverfree.com It's a book that shows you how to cure psoriasis naturally in a few days. I cured my psoriasis permanently in 6 days after reading this book. Good luck!

Cures are hard to find. For a non-alternative medicine prescription product that treats the outward condition, try this: Geri-Hydrolac 12 Ammonium Lactate Lotion and Dovonex (calcipotriene ointment), 0.005%.
For alternative real solutions, try the method ascribed to by Dr. Don Colbert, M.D. in his book called Toxic Relief. This book is about NATURAL detoxifying and has special instructions in it for psoriasis sufferers. A smaller book of his probably deals with it more specifically.
I wish I had the old juicing book handy that I picked up at a used bookstore years ago. In the same vein as Dr. Colbert, particular juices were used to purify the blood and liver. So a cleanse would surely help.
My spouse has suffered for 25 years. He said at the time the psoriasis came he was very healthy (and young). During the years he drank, psoriasis disappeared. This is NOT a recommended solution. What he has determined from everything is that this is an internal problem, specifically with the blood.
I sincerely hope all this helps. Buttercup

I was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 14 and now I am 36 years old. You can say that I have tried just about every medicine both approved by FDA and trial without much success. Examples include Enbrel, Humira, oral meds, creams, oils, salts, coal tar, etc and the list is much more extensive that I can't even remember all of the names. But recently after someone shared this video https://tr.im/PsoriasisTreatments20158JDV everything has changed. My psoriasis completely cleared by putting these changes in place. I only wish I'd taken photos of before and after because it truly has been miraculous. I am getting married in Oct, 2015 and I am wearing a strapless gown that also shows my back and I am confident (not like before) that my skin will be soft and pretty vs red and flakey.

I'm not sure about a cure but you do need to treat the cause rather than the symptoms. I take an all natural product that has medical validation. It is an adaptogen which goes to work on all auto-immune deficiencies including psoriasis and ezcema. Once things are balanced in your system, you no longer experience the flare-ups. I have found success with this.

Yep, no cure. I recently saw on tv that there is a psoriasis support group online now. There's probably plenty of great advice on how to treat it there. I have eczema and the only thing that really works for an outbreak is diprolene.

Unfortunately, there is no cure for it, you can only treat the symptoms. Dermarest, a shampoo, and lotion can be found at drug stores, Walmart, etc. It's in a white bottle with purple and maroon writing on it. My daughter has psoriasis and it helps better than the prescription medicine. Good luck.

there is a shot that is available through your dr. but can be costly and reguires monthly blood testing, but the results are amazing. i have psoriasis and it was severe when i was younger but now is only moderate and creams are more aggravating then a help. my sister-in-law has severe psoriasis and takes the shots with amazing results but as with any treatment there can be draw backs and the only one she has had so far with this treatment was a severe out break when she stopped taking the shot for 2 months, insurance problem. take to your dr. its worth a try. hope this helped.

Outside of creams, lotions, and meds - I have seen one other thing work. I'll admit however, that it sounds like quackery, but I know the doc who does it, and i've seen the before and after photos.
The doctor is a chiropractor that uses a treatment approach called "Toftness". This type of treatment has much documented success, but I have never tried the therapy on any of my patients. If you want more info you can search the web, or give me an email and I will give you the number for the doc and he can find a practitioner in your area.
Best of wishes.
