Personally, if he is living in your house with your daughter "playing husband and wife", then I would kick them out and tell them that if they want to play those roles, they can support themselves and live in their own place.

Simple.
Whatever money your daughter asks to borrow from you within the month, multiply that by 2.8, add 125 dollar, for sh*ts and giggles and drinking all the soda, and that's the amount he should pay that month. So his rent would be based on how needy your daughter is.

I hope this answer just changed a life. Peace.

divide average of all bills including mortgage, gas, electricity, water, food etc... and that would be the amount he should be responsible for. Your daughter should be paying the same thing since she's an adult now!

Take your mortgage divide it by how many people are living in your house and that is what he should pay a month. He should also have to pay for utilities and food. So add some to it.

I don't know all of the circumstances but please reconsider if you are thinking of letting your daughters boyfriend live with you. Is the boyfriend under the age of 18? If he is, believe me, it's a bad, bad idea.

i agree with coaxateacher. they should get married before they t=live together and even then, should be responsible for themselves. if they are old enough to play real house, they can support themselves. and if they are not old enough, then why are you letting them live together!? be a good father. but not a pushover.
