My lesson is that smug self-satisfaction goes far on Yahoo! Answers...

"Even though I'm a successful entrepreneur, I know I always have more to learn."

Or I guess I'm guilty of 'insulting other participants', am I?

I met him a few years ago (long story short: he was having a business meeting in the same restaurant where we were having a bridal shower). I can say that what I learned is that the "business" persona is completely different from the real person. Perhaps what we can learn is that you can be an extremely successful person and still be nice, friendly, and FUN as a human being.

Not matter what I see or read about him, I'll always remember what a nice person he was in real life -- all "big business" people should remember that!

We can learn that he is an a$$hole and that just because you have tons of money doesn't mean you are a celebrity. He needs to stick to real estate because that is all the guy really knows.

I think you have to be intelligent and have the ambition to learn everything possible in real estate. Money doesn't hurt either, but good investments are the key factor in this situation.
