A friend of mine died of toxic shock - becuase she didn't go to the hospital, and when she finally did - it was becuase she was in a coma. The doctors and the nurses didn't know she had a tampon inserted becuase she came in from a high fever and shock. She was in a coma shortly after her arrival in the hospital, and died three days later. I'm not saying don't use tampons - becuase I still do, but PLEASE if you think it's even a possibility - just go to the hospital.

What makes you think you have Toxic Shock? Just using a tampon doesn't mean you have it -- in fact, it's virtually unheard of any more although it does still exist.
If you suspect Toxic Shock Syndrom, seek immediate medical attention.
