by the way...i just recently found out i have been singing the wrong words to a song for years!...i blame the fact that it is on tape...cd quality is so much better. (I'm not gonna tell you , because it is to embarrassing....especially because i considered myself a big fan...and i've been screwing up the words to one of my favorite songs.)

Fro Blinded by the Light, it's "cut loose like a deuce, another runner in the night"

My friend sings "It's a Wonderful world" crowing on

"The bright blessed day/The dogs say good night"

(It's "The dark sacred night")

I use to sing "she's a mad cheetah" for "She's a maneater" by Hall and Oates.

My hubby sings the wrong words to songs all of the time, it drives me batty, lol. I like to think of him like that guy in the Comcast commercial that is singing the Born To Be Wild song all out of whack, lol.

I used to sing "Give me the Beach Boys, and free my soul," during Doby Gray's 'Drift Away'. I was only eight. Many years later, when I was about 18, I learned the real words. ("Give me the BEAT, boys, and free my soul," etc.)

The correct one is:

"Why does the sun go on shining"

My mom often forgot lyrics!

That song, Blinded by the Light....I am not sure what the real lyrics are (if anyone knows, please let me know) but it sounds like they are singing "wrapped up like a douche"
